For the first time in Turkey we can produce 400 cc and 600 cc volume bottles that are suitable for hot filling with single phase blowing method (producing a preform and blowing in the same machine). Thanks to this technology, plastic preform is blown at high mold temperature (180ᵒC) to form a crystalline structure in a bottle with 2 stations to achieve high temperature resilience. As the technology allows for filling at 80ᵒC-85ᵒC temperatures, the bottle can be pasteurized. Besides, the bottle’s high crystalline structure rate enhances the oxygen barrier feature and prolongs the shelf life of the food inside. On the other hand, plastic bottles in the current market cannot be pasteurized as they do not allow filling at high temperatures and various additives are put in them in order to prolong shelf life.
